On a warm summer day, Theresa + Ben were married in front of the NYC skyline, at the lovely Maritime Parc. I’d been looking forward to this wedding since last year, and it did not disappoint. Both Ben and Theresa have great senses of humor, so I knew it would be a fun day. After getting ready and having an emotional first look on the terrace at the venue, we headed to Liberty State Park for portraits. I was so happy we were able to get those quintessential New York skyline portraits. Soon after, their bridal party met us in the park for more photos before we headed back for the ceremony. The ceremony space at Maritime Parc is so pretty, with a view of Manhattan and light pouring in the windows. Their officiant was terrific, and their ceremony was so unique with the perfect mix of humor. Everyone said it was very “them,” and I have to agree. After a delicious cocktail hour, guests headed into the ballroom to hear the amazing Hank Lane Band playing. I loved the way Theresa and Ben had the tables decorated in navy blue with bright flowers, complete with Momofuku cookies. I especially loved their personalized cake topper modeled after them. As the night went on, the skyline lit up the ballroom as everyone hit the dance floor and enjoyed the view. I’m not sure I can think of another ballroom with a better view than that. It was an awesome wedding and I am so happy for Theresa + Ben!
